Who am I actually?
For starters, my real name isn't Augustine. It's a pseudonymn! For online anonymity. Augustine is, however, my real confirmation name. I chose Augustine after the late great church father St. Augustine of Hippo. His story of conversion from years of debauchery as a teenager in roman north africa spoke as detailed in his account, The Confessions of St Augustine, greatly spoke to my own story of conversion to Catholicism after an entire early life of atheism.I am a devout Catholic covert, and I was baptized and confirmed on May 14th, 2025. I drive myself and my girlfriend to Mass every Sunday and I love spreading the Joy of the Good News.
I will be attending the Missouri University of Science and Technology next semester, and I am majoring in Mechanical Engineering. This means I am super busy with graduating high school now.
My hobbies include: drawing, painting, hiking, cooking, researching, and wakesurfing. I also dabble in airsoft and real-steel target shooting from time to time.
